Terms of Use
The rules for using your MSS account. Last updated October 25, 2026.
1. About the service
auth.mss.io (the "Service") is a sign-in and identity service operated by Mario Stefano Suharja, doing business as MSS, based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada ("MSS", "we", "us"). It lets you create an account once and use it to sign in to websites and applications that MSS runs or that rely on MSS for sign-in ("Connected Applications").
By creating an account or signing in through the Service, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live (18 in Alberta), you may use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms.
You agree to:
- Give accurate information when you register, and keep it current.
- Keep your password, recovery codes and multi-factor authentication devices secure, and not share your account.
- Tell us promptly at auth-contact.epilogue605@passinbox.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
You are responsible for activity under your account unless it results from our failure to take reasonable security measures. If you sign in with a third-party account (for example Google, GitHub or Apple), that provider's terms also apply to that account.
3. Acceptable use
Use the Service only to sign in to Connected Applications you are allowed to use. You must not:
- Access or try to access accounts, data or systems you are not authorized to use.
- Probe, scan or test the Service for vulnerabilities, or bypass rate limits, MFA or other security controls, except as described below.
- Use automated means (bots, credential stuffing, scripted sign-ups) to create accounts or sign in.
- Interfere with or overload the Service, or attempt to reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows.
- Impersonate another person or use the Service for anything unlawful.
If you find a security issue, please report it privately to auth-contact.epilogue605@passinbox.com and give us reasonable time to fix it before disclosure. We will not pursue action against good-faith research that avoids privacy violations, data destruction and service disruption.
4. Connected Applications
The Service only handles sign-in. Each Connected Application is responsible for its own content and features, and may have its own terms and privacy policy. When you sign in to a Connected Application, you will see which account details it is requesting (for example your email address or name) before they are shared.
Where a Connected Application is run by MSS for a client, that client's own terms may also apply to your use of that application.
5. Availability, changes and termination
The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. It may be unavailable at times for maintenance, upgrades or reasons outside our control, and we do not guarantee any particular uptime. We do not currently keep backups of account data, so if data is lost we may be unable to restore your account and you may need to register again.
We may change, suspend or discontinue the Service or any feature. Where practical, we will give reasonable notice before discontinuing it entirely.
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, if your account poses a security risk, or if required by law. You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account at auth-contact.epilogue605@passinbox.com. Sections 6 and 7 survive termination.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the extent permitted by law, MSS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or CAD $100.
You agree to indemnify MSS against claims and costs arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived by contract.
7. Governing law, changes and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. You and MSS agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta, sitting in Calgary, unless the law where you live gives you a right to bring a claim elsewhere.
We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will notify you by email or at sign-in before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and MSS about the Service.
